Rachel Lyons Plumley is a writer and graphic designer. She is published in Doubts, Dreams & Determination, an anthology for Christian authors. She is a co-author of the Student Worldview Dictionary. After studying at Liberty University and Regent University, she worked for a decade at the Foundation for American Christian Education where she learned book layout and design. Passionate about Christian education, she loves teaching children Jesus’ truth. She served as Children’s Ministry Director at Kempsville Presbyterian Church in Virginia and MOPS (now MomCo) in Miami.
Rachel’s favorite Bible verse is Psalms 16:11, You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. She experiences the joy of God’s presence in worship dance, music, and the visual arts. She desires to glorify God in the creative process, collaborating on new projects as a member of KPC Writers Group. Rachel explores the lyrical beauty of penning poetry. She is currently working on a memoir to share with women the freedom of God’s grace in darkest pain.
Rachel considers it an honor to serve as a military spouse, supporting her husband Jason wherever the Coast Guard sends them. She can be found tying herself into a harness to belay her sons on a rock wall or in the mountains of Virginia.
